Tarique Rahman to Inaugurate Tk 1,542 Crore Flood Control Project in Feni

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to inaugurate the rehabilitation project of the Muhuri-Kahua Flood Control, Drainage and Irrigation Project in Parshuram, Feni, on October 1. The project, approved at a cost of Tk 1,542.16 crore, includes river and waterbody re-excavation, rehabilitation of flood control embankments, riverbank protection and renovation of irrigation infrastructure. Extensive security and logistical preparations are underway in Parshuram and Fulgazi ahead of the prime minister’s visit.
